Some projects like twitch emotes may be a much simpler process, you ask for what you want and Lio makes it. Some brands may want their designer to have more input than others. The processes do vary depending on client needs, and Lio aims to make sure it’s fun and comfortable, and not overwhelming. These steps are just guidelines to what an involved process with Lio could look like, it does not mean you HAVE to go through all these steps for simpler projects.

1.        Consultation: What do you need your design for? What do you require inside your design? What feeling and impression do you want to convey? What is your existing theme, if any?

2.        Contract: Lio determines approximate time frame for final delivery, initial project scope and costs, and contract specifies final file types to be delivered.

3.        Research and Concept Design: Time is spent researching and discussing project themes, picking shapes, fonts, and colors. Delivering rough sketches for the client to review and select from. For some projects mockups may be added or included in this process, if the client understands that what they are seeing during this stage may appear differently in the final form of the design, and mockups are only a rough guess.

4.        Creation: Your design is created, from line work to completion, once concepts, layout, and elements have been selected together, and the overall design direction is approved by the client. During this step the client may have input during live streams if they wish or may include and purchase additional concept/mockups ahead of time on their contract if they want to be involved in additional project updates during this process.  

5.        Delivery: In some contracts this may be a stage where mockups are sent for approval first, and more work is contracted if changes or revisions need to be made. The project is completed files are delivered in your specified formats and sizes, and you’re ready to go!
