Knowing your resolution requirements
Brand packages may include a variety of logos and aesthetics at different sizes for website assets, merchandise, prints, fliers, and other brand materials. It is very important even as a startup brand to communicate what you need from your designer up front. Designs do not look good at every size, or on every product, and use matters. Mockups can show you how a design might look printed on a specific item or marketing material, and are a very useful part of the design process. If you aren’t sure how your designs would look, and want to pay for mockups in your contract to see how they will appear, please specify this in the beginning of your communication with your designer.
Twitch emotes used to be 28 x 28 pixels for web, 56 x 56 pixels for Retina display, and 112 x 112 for larger platforms. They used to require all three sizes. Now they automatically resize your upload and it just has to be between 112 x 112px and 4096 x 4096px, and less than 1MB, for both emotes and animated emotes.
Channel points icons for twitch need to be submitted in three sizes: 28 x 28 pixels, 56 x 56 pixels, and 112 x 112 pixels.
Sub and bits badges for twitch need to be submitted in three sizes, 18x18, 36x36, and 72x72 and they need to be very simple designs to show correctly as they are a small size.
Tiktok emotes need to be 1:1 ratio, and a minimum of 650x650 for transparency to register.

Discord emojis are standard size of 32x32 but they allow up to 128x128 pixels which are automatically resized.
Discord stickers are best at around 320x320 and can be no bigger than 500kb. This size information is especially important in making gifs for animated stickers, as the more complex gif files might be too heavy for the sticker.
Prints for Streamlabs merchandise recommend these resolutions for different products they carry: Streamlabs Resolution Guidelines for Merch other merchandisers will typically have resolution guidelines similar to this. I work in 300dpi and I don’t go lower than that.
The ideal YouTube thumbnail size in pixels is 1280 × 720, with a minimum width of 640 pixels. On the other hand, the ideal YouTube thumbnail size ratio for YouTube players and previews is 16:9.
Overlays for live streaming broadcasts such as twitch and tiktok for desktop are usually 1920x1080 and these can be things like frames, overlays with camera boxes, etc. One or two assets per scene with everything you need from stream logos, to camera boxes, all in one arrangement are preferred, but they can be done separately if sources get hidden individually and need to be grouped with separate assets on an individual scene.
Camera assets (frames, masks) are based on the resolution or ratio of the camera being used.
Logo sizes vary so much. A good base logo size is 250 x 100 pixels. The standard logo size for a horizontal website layout typically ranges from 250 to 400 pixels wide. A standard logo size for a vertical website header is 160px x 160px. It's important to note that social media logos vary in size, ranging from 110px to 900px in width. Other possible website logo size variations include: 250 x 150 pixels. 350 x 75 pixels.
Vector logos are becoming increasingly standard as they can be scaled to any size without losing quality, and you won’t see those fuzzy pixels zoomed in. Your logo can be put in a vector file which can be converted to any size raster (pixel) images you need depending on the uses.
For logos that cannot be vector due to the complexity of the image, high resolution raster images can be created and sized down some as needed, or, in some cases multiple designs at different sizes will be needed.
